The UV Sensors & Amplifiers manufactured by us are used in various fields including petrochemical plants, dyeing houses, chemical plants, dairy, and many more. These systems detect UV radiations produced by naked flames from coal, oil-fired burners, and gas. Our UV Sensors and Amplifiers are available in both general and customized specifications.

The UV Flame Sensor designed by Linear Systems India uses a highly sensitive electronic UV tube. The specially tuned UV tube detects UV radiations emitted by naked flames and is insensitive to normal light and refractory glow in furnace walls. It is ideal for detecting all types of flame, including gas, coal, and oil-fired burners in boilers and furnaces.

UV Sensor Models

• UV Sensor (Model UV – 01 -AJ): Specially designed for harsh industrial environments, providing easy cleaning and viewing of the flame. Housed in a metal jacket for mechanical protection with various mounting options.
• UV Flame Amplifier / Relay (Model UV – FR – 01): Works with UV Flame Sensor to detect gas, oil, and coal flames. Standalone unit with two potential-free relay contacts rated at 230 V AC, 5 Amps. Output contacts can be used for alarms, annunciation, or trip purposes. Front panel indicators: SUPPLY ON (turns on with supply), RELAY ON (presence of UV radiation/flame).
• Model UV – FR – 21: Features site-adjustable time delay of 2–8 seconds, suitable for installations with high flicker situations.

The UV Flame Amplifiers / Relays are designed to work with Linear Systems India make UV Sensor UV – 01, but have been found compatible with UV Sensors from other brands such as Honeywell, Landis & Gyr, Satronic, etc. It is important to ensure that the sensors are rated at 230 V AC.rms.
