Technical Overview
Each Flame Amplifier works in conjunction with a compatible flame detector to interpret and amplify the signal generated by the presence of a flame. The amplified signal ensures that the connected burner controller can accurately verify flame presence or trigger an immediate shutdown if no flame is detected.
Our amplifiers are recommended for burners operating in an on/off cycle at least once every 24 hours, ensuring safe ignition and flame supervision in demanding industrial environments.
FLAME EYE (FE–01)
The FLAME EYE (FE–01) is a flame detector unit designed to work with our Flame Amplifiers. It is sensitive to visible light and uses a Cadmium Sulphide (CdS) photoresistor as the sensing device. This detector is ideal for oil-fired burners and provides dependable flame sensing performance.
The corresponding amplifier features two potential-free relay contact outputs (rated at 230V AC, 5A) that can be used for alarm, annunciation, or trip functions. It also includes status indicators for SUPPLY ON and RELAY ON, ensuring clear operational visibility.
